How lucky were we! The best weather we could have imagined with the most glorious sun sets and the children playing in the lake, it really was pure heaven.
The chalet was immaculately clean and everything thought of, we will most certainly be back. Great days out included a cycle ride at Loch Katrine, horse riding and the boat ride over to the priory.

"A" Frame Apartment

Overview

Our three "A" Frame Apartments - Widgeon, Teal and Mallard - are effectively three semi detached lodges, divided by 18" thick, sound proofed walls. They are about 15 meters back from, and parallel to, the shore. With spectacular views in all weathers why leave the house! Double patio doors downstairs provide a wide vista, with outdoor furniture on a small paved area and upstairs the patio doors lead to a small balcony to drink in the view. Bed linen, towels, tea towels, eco cleaning products, starter pack is all included in the price.

Kitchen

New solid oak kitchen which has a fridge, freezer, washer/dryer, dishwasher, electric hob and oven, microwave, toaster, kettle, cafetiere, scales, hand blender and all the utensils you need. Inventory available - just ask. Heating and hot water are provided by oil central heating with an electric emerson heater for hot water in summer.

Living/Dining

Open-plan living/dining with leather sofa, big fluffy cushions, small flat-screen TV, CD/Radio/iPod dock and sycamore topped dining table - handmade by Chris Carroll.

Upstairs Living

Large flat-screen TV with DVD player; this room has a 3-seater sofa and a double futon sofa, so can become the 3rd bedroom.

Bedrooms

Upstairs there is a double room with en-suite and shower and downstairs twin. Beds are all made up with fresh linen for your arrival. "WIDGEON" is different in that it has one big room upstairs with a double 4 poster bed in the middle, so only sleeps 4. Very romantic!
