Fantastic - amazing - wonderful.
We came here in need of a rest, and what a perfect, peaceful spot
this is. The long evenings and sunsets are incredible - the bird
life - Wow! The highlight has to be walking to the lake edge at 11
o'clock one night, and finding 7 Oyster catchers (yes 7!) lined up
on the jetty. They were standing in line, shuffling their feet,
bobbing their heads for a couple of minutes, until they became
aware of us. The first one swooped across the lake, letting
out his mournful call. The others took a moment or two, as though
waiting for a signal, then all together they too followed their
leader, their eerie calls echoing over the water. What an
experience!
A perfect holiday - Derrick enjoyed 2 days at the Nick Nairn Cook
School, and we loved the Jacobite steam Train from Fort
William.

Cedar Cabin
Quick Reference:
1 Double room, 1 Twin room, Shower Bath, Freeview/DVD/CD with
iPod/MP3 doc, Patio Furniture, Linen & Towels inc.
Overview
The Cedar Cabins are built in a crescent, parallel to the shore,
but about 70-80 meters back from the water; this ensures that once
you're in your cabin you look out at a view of lawn and trees to
the water rather than onto the back of another cabin. All the
cabins are separated by a trellis and flower beds, and the patio
doors lead onto a paved patio with outdoor seating. Bed linen,
towels, tea towels, eco cleaning products, starter pack is all
included in the price. Everything runs on electricity, which
is charged at cost; on weekly lets the first £5 is
included.
Kitchen
Full sized cooker, with hob grill and oven, fridge with freezer
box, microwave, toaster, kettle, cafetiere, scales, and all the
utensils you need. Inventory available - just ask.
Living/dining
Open-plan living/dining with leather sofas, large flat-screen
TV, DVD player, CD/Radio/iPod-MP3 dock.
Bathroom
Proper shower bath with curved glass screen and Power
Shower.
Bedrooms
This chalet sleeps 4 in a double room and a twin room; we have 3
cabins that have a double futon in the living area and are equipped
for 6, but suggest that 4 is the more comfortable party size. Beds
made up with fresh linen for your arrival.
Parking
There is space for 1 car at the back of each chalet.
