The Coach House is our largest property and is ideal for large families or groups of friends. The property is a converted stables, a semi-detached stone cottage, and it sits behind the Pine Lodge, near the Cook School. The building has just been converted to have 4 en suite bedrooms, a huge kitchen with hand made elm table, ideal for large dinner parties. Beyond the kitchen is a sun lounge and beyond the sun lounge is outside decking with garden furniture, where you look over the fields and hills. With a Victorian glasshouse to its left, this offers the Coach House its own private little 'green'. There is also a very nice 'Victoria Plum' tree, which you are welcome to indulge in, in season.
The rear of the cottage also has its own yard with car parking for 4 cars.
Kitchen
The Big kitchen with its Big kitchen table is perfect for clan gatherings and dinner parties. The kitchen is fully equipped, with; washing machine/dryer, dishwasher, 2 fridges, electric hob and oven, microwave, freezer, toaster, kettle and all the utensils you need. Heating/hot water is provided by The Stanley stove - it’s a little like an AGA but more biddable. You can, for example, set the oven to a certain temperature. It takes a day or so to get used to it but lessons are provided on arrival or you can just use the electric alternative. As the kitchen is living space it also has a big TV and DVD player.
Sun lounge
Nice light and airy space with lots of leather seating and a card table. It also has a TV and video player.
Bedrooms
The ground floor has two double bedrooms; one adjoins to the main bathroom with Jacuzzi bath. The other has a large shower in the en suite. There is a payphone. The upstairs has two identical twin bedded rooms both with en suite shower rooms.
Beds are made up with fresh linen for your arrival. Towels, tea towels, bed linen, heat and electricity are included in the price.
