We have just had a brilliant week at Lochend. This is the best
self catering we have ever stayed in, very comfortable. Lots to see
and do. We will definetly be back to visit, but for longer next
time! Highly recommended.

Whisky and Activity!
Combine walking with a trip to Glengoyne Distillery! about 30 minutes drivingsouth of Lochend on the road to Glasgow, Tel. No. 01360 550254. Opening times: Monday to Saturday: Tours 10am-4pm (every hour), shop 9.30am-5pm. Sunday: Tours 12noon-4pm (every hour), shop 12.30pm-5.00pm. The walk up the hill is quite steep, even a bit of scrambling in places, and takes about an hour up and an hour down, but on your return a wee whisky tasting tour might just be the very thing! Phone to book first.
