This wee village has 2, one just as you arrive in the village on the left. Park in the main car park towards the back of the Scottish Wool Centre and there is a leafy path round the back of some houses that brings you to that park.
For the second drive on through the village and turn a sharp 90 degree turn right at the end, following the road up for about a mile. This takes you to the Queen Elizabeth Forest Park where the David Marshall Lodge has a great adventure playground, with hair-raising slide.
Go Ape is also located here. The tearoom has changed hands and is now table service.
Callander has two nice wee play parks, the first on Callander Meadows, right next to the river, just by the car park behind the Dreadnought Hotel. The second play park lies at the other end of the village, just behind Camp Place and Willoughby Place, about 500m beyond the last shops as you drive towards Stirling.
Stirling has a super big playpark (and skate park) in Kings Park. to get there, drive into Stirling on the A811, and turn right at the first two mini-roundabouts beneath the castle; drive up past the Stirling Golf Course, and turn right at the next two mini-roundabouts, parking up alongside the park railings.
