Within the grounds of Lochend, in what was once the estate piggery, lies the acclaimed Nick Nairn Cook School and it's new summer restaurant, run by our big brother, Nick Nairn.
Fun, informal, and fuelled by some of Nick’s favourite wines, the Nick Nairn Cook School offers a brilliant day out, with a huge variety of amazingly inspiring courses for anyone looking to improve their culinary skills – all just a minute’s walk from the chalets.
As a result of the pandemic, cook school classes are all currently postponed. Do check on their website for what's happening.
NEW SUMMER RESTAURANT AT THE COOK SCHOOL
Launched in summer 2021, Nick has opened a family-friendly restaurant at the cook school. With plenty of outdoor seating and a menu full of favourites, including the famous Port pizzas, it's sure to be a big hit with Lochend Chalet customers.

The restaurant is open Thursday to Sunday inclusive, from 12 noon to 8.30pm, and 6pm on Sunday. Lastest booking time is 6.30pm and on Sunday 4pm. Please take your key and you'll get a 10% discount.
