Michael MacDonald and Alice Bowers had a chilly December dip on a beautiful winters day. Topher, who took the pictures, nearly joined them but only because he slipped on the icy jetty whilst holding his phone aloft!
We certainly don’t have it as cold as the Brennan family, who have just arrived from Manchester, have it but there is a film of ice creeping across the lake!
The Campbell family who were staying in Heron last week reported an otter swimming in the lake very close to the shore.
19th October and the 1st snow of the year has covered the top of Ben Lomond.
Where did July go! We had some lovely weather leading to lots of swimming in the lake, some out to the crannog in our bay, some as far as the island and one round the island 3 times!! She is in training to swim Loch lomond! Picture is from last Saturday evening.
Skating to school in winter and paddling in summer…the Lochend children using their environment to it’s full!
