The ice is making the most fantastical groaning, muffled, pinball machine sounds. It always seems after the sun goes down, which of course today being the shortest day of the year, was 2.50pm!! The head teacher of the Primary school lives a mile up the hill and he says he can hear it just as well. The noises are good…it’s still expanding! Customer feeback is that there may be a whale trapped underneath the ice causing the strange noises!
