Kidding Around at Gartur Stitch

This fabulous facility just up the road in Dykehead have the most wonderful intro to ‘croft living’ and on these days they’ll celebrate Spring by introducing you to their mini petting zoo, cuddling baby goats, painting eggs, planting seeds, scavenger hunt and a goat walk.
£20 for an adult, children go free and this includes refreshments.

8th and 9th April 11am-5pm
Unicorn day at Stirling Castle.
A full day out at our favourite castle! And yes you can meet the unicorns and learn about this creatures impact on Scottish history.

6th-13th April 9.30am – 4.30pm

Green Aspirations, also on the Cardross estate up at Dykehead, are the wonderful makers of the charcoal we provide with the BBQ’s.
They are an inspiring lot and run workshops for ’Wee skelfs’, 6-12 year olds and ‘Crafty teens’ 13-18 year olds. So much can be learned from outdoor forrest workshops and play.
£30 per day session.

Little Alchemists Club held at Gartur Stitch Farm

Just like witches and wizards of the past here you can learn about herbal remedies that are all child friendly and feel free to dress up accordingly.

Stirling Gaelic choir invite you to a Ceilidh dance at Holy Trinity Church Hall…this ticks many Scottish experience boxes and promises to be a fun fling!

£10 adults children free.
