Kidding Around at Gartur Stitch
This fabulous facility just up the road in Dykehead have the most wonderful intro to ‘croft living’ and on these days they’ll celebrate Spring by introducing you to their mini petting zoo, cuddling baby goats, painting eggs, planting seeds, scavenger hunt and a goat walk.
£20 for an adult, children go free and this includes refreshments.

Unicorn day at Stirling Castle.
A full day out at our favourite castle! And yes you can meet the unicorns and learn about this creatures impact on Scottish history.

Green Aspirations, also on the Cardross estate up at Dykehead, are the wonderful makers of the charcoal we provide with the BBQ’s.
They are an inspiring lot and run workshops for ’Wee skelfs’, 6-12 year olds and ‘Crafty teens’ 13-18 year olds. So much can be learned from outdoor forrest workshops and play.
