Our wee adventure play park by the lake

Sheltered below an ancient oak tree just back from the lake, our play area has a wooden play-boat that is always a real hit with younger guests, and a rope swing that is popular with children of all ages – not to mention their parents! The play area also has a giant chess board (with benches for pondering your next move) and a new playcentre with two hidey-houses, a curly slide, a wee climbing-wall and swings.

However, with 38 acres of lawns, trees, trails and shores – plus armies of friendly ducks to feed – the whole of Lochend could be described as one giant play park – a place where children are free to climb trees and build dens, to hunt for bugs and play tig with pals, a place just to be free.
